We have the highest of praise for Davina Murray, our photographer. We were extremely impressed with her professionalism, her service, her enthusiasm, her advice (on many aspects of the wedding organisation, not only photography) and above all her wonderful photographs.
Photography was one area we were not prepared to skimp on. Anyone can see from our website, that photos are important to us. I wanted to have beautiful photos from the day; otherwise I knew I'd be disappointed. There were a few reasons why we decided to go with Davina Murray:
- Portfolio - Davina was the photographer at Matt and Sharon's wedding. I really loved their photos, especially the candid shots. There were some beautiful photos that were obviously taken on the spur of the moment. I think good candid photos are a sign of a great photographer.
- Negatives - Most wedding photographers keep the negatives for a period after the wedding, or forever. This means, every time you wish to get a copy of the photo, you have to go to the photographer and pay a premium price. Davina hands over the negatives when she gives you the photos. We can just pop down to Kmart to get reprints. The rest of her package deal is great too. You can get two sets of full-sized prints, all the photos scanned onto a CD and a presentation album.
- Enthusiasm - After we initially met with Davina we decided we were definitely going to book her as our wedding photographer. On meeting her, you can truly tell that she enjoys being a wedding photographer and being involved in weddings.
We received all photographs back two weeks after our wedding. That's an amazing turn around. We would highly recommend Davina Murray to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.
